"Love is my wing, poetry is my voice, yoga is my walk"
I feel so privileged to be a teacher of yoga.
I am a wellbeing practitioner, breathing and meditation teacher, ecotherapist.
I facilitate weekly yoga classes and wellbeing workshops to offer help with reducing stress, empowering self-healing and self practice. My approach is creating a compassionate connection with the heart and body so that one can feel and return to their original nature, live in harmony with their inner and outer world to reach their full potential.
My yoga journey began in 2006 in Istanbul with Hatha Yoga. I have developed my practice in Cambridge and India mostly with Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga and Pranayama practices. I have completed my 200 Yoga teacher training on traditional Hatha Yoga with Yogi Mahendra Pardeshi and was privileged to teach yoga with him at Little Cove Yoga Reterat during my teacher training. During my training I have been also lucky to study Hatha yoga and meditations with Ravi Dixit who teaches yoga in London and Goa. Then I completed 50 hours YTT in 2020 with Berivan Aslan Sungur and specialised on Yin Yoga which is based on Paul Grelley's yoga and anatomy approach.
I have always had great interest in nature and it's healing, suiting affects on us. Being very fortunate, have had the chance of going through an experiential ecotherapy "10 Direction Ecotherapy Course" which is based on Buddhist Psychotherapy approach with Caroline Brazier, who is the course leader of the Tariki Psychotherapy Training Programme in Other-Centred Therapy at Tariki Trust in UK (2018-2020)
I work with and combine different techniques that I have gained over 15 years of study and practices and offer those in ways during my classes and workshops . Please get in touch with me at yaseminaslanyoga@gmail.com if you would like to have more information or discuss any potential work that I could help you with.
